Inside Abandoned House in USA

A creepy abandoned home with an incomplete puzzle lying on a table in the living room has been pictured after being uninhabited for more than half a century.

An image shows the 2,000-piece landscape that was left when the the house was vacated and another photo shows magazines cluttered around the home dated from 1949.

An insight into who lived in the home is given with a wardrobe still full of clothes, particularly dresses that appear to be from the 1950s or 1960s.

These shots were captured in Georgia, in the United States, by urban explorer Leland Kent also known as Abandoned Southeast.

There is plenty of mystery surrounding the home which locals said had been empty for more than 50 years and is technically owned by a family living in Florida.

The owners are believed to have visited the property and considered renovating it but in the end left again after deciding that they did not want to live there.

“According to neighbours, this stunning Queen Anne-style home has been vacant for more than 50-years,” said Leland on his blog.

“Built circa 1900, the massive 4,000-square-foot home sits on a large corner lot in a rural Georgia town. Several years ago, hurricane-force winds blew over one of the chimneys, causing it to crash through the wraparound porch and narrowly miss the roof.

“Property records indicate it is currently owned by a Florida couple. Originally, they planned to renovate the house one room at a time as their residence.

Also captured by Leland is a hunting lodge that has been left abandoned like a time capsule complete with stuffed deer heads still mounted on the wall from before the Covid outbreak.
